Poached haddock with rice and boiled egg

Ingredients 
 
200g Haddock (smoked haddock will also work well) 
100ml milk for poaching 
pinch salt and pepper 
1 mug white rice  
1litre chicken stock 
1 mug frozen peas 
2 hard boiled eggs 
 
Method 
 
Place the milk in a saucepan and gently heat, as the milk is heating, add the haddock with the salt and pepper to the saucepan. 
Poach the fish gently for 3-4 minutes, until it is cooked through and starting  to flake. 
 
Meanwhile cook the rice in the chicken stock, when almost soft, add the frozen peas and allow the mixture to absorb the chicken stock. Once everything is tender, remove from the heat. 
 
Remove the fish from the milk, flake into pieces and then mix through the rice and peas. 
 
Allow to cool and then add to your dog’s bowl, chop one of the boiled eggs and sprinkle over the fish and rice mix and then serve. 
 
Add the second egg to the remaining mixture and keep aside for your dog’s next feed. 
 
This mix will make 2 large portions or 3-4 medium, depending on the size of your dog. 
 
It will keep happily in the fridge for 3-4 days.
